The company is an Internet of Things (IoT) start-up that specialises in building and facilities management for medium to large estates, with a focus on harsh industrial environments such as bus depots, train stations, water treatment plants, and telecom cell towers, as well as schools, restaurants, and government offices. The company’s solution is a modular system that combines proprietary hardware with off-the-shelf electrical metering, providing remote monitoring and control capabilities. LoopMe is a global mobile video advertising platform that utilises integration with ad exchanges and direct publishers to reach over 1.5 billion consumers worldwide. The platform is powered by Artificial Intelligence and complemented by its Data Management Platform.
Byyd was a mobile advertising platform that operated as a real-time, high throughput, low latency trading platform. I help build and scale the platform to billions ad requests daily with sub-millisecond response times. I oversaw prioritising new features to developing and delivering them, managing technical debt, release management, reducing costs, and maintaining a stable production environment. I led a team of developers (20), integration engineers (2), architects (2), database administrators (3), and technical project managers(2). I focused on making the most efficient development life-cycle possible. Even though these resources reported to me, I worked closely with the team daily. During my tenure at Byyd, I collaborated with every aspect of the business, to create the most successful self-organising teams of my career by using agile methodologies and well-balanced hiring.
